OPis 60"s Mobile was created by Kas62
We bought this product for my elderly Mum to use, as she can't use a smart phone. Please can you confirm the size of SIM required for this product. Currently we have a nano sim but it doesn't seem to work. Your guidance would be appreciated. Thank you

The OPIS 60s mobile requires a standard SIM (15 x 25mm).
Equally important is that it shall be 2G (GSM) card. It will not work with 3 or 4G networks. As some network providers gradually withdraw from 2G (especially in the US) you should contact your network provider to check for the 2G coverage in the area where you would like to use the phone. In most parts of Europe there shall be no issues.

Thank you for your prompt response. Do you recommend a particular network in the UK that provides a 2G Sim. The phone will probably be only used to receive calls. So we will be looking for a network that provides a very cheap monthly contract or even pay as you go.

We have no favorites. All the big players shall do (Vodafone, O2, EE). As the phone comes without a display maybe it makes sense to find a provider who provides a reasonable web interface for charging, call log, phone settings (mailbox), so you do not have to fiddle through dial tone menus if you want to make changes. On the other hand usually those settings are done once and never again, maybe it is not so important after all.
