I recently purchased the phone, and i live in the east coast United States and have a verizon gsm micro SIM card, I used an adapter and placed it into the phone, the phone does not register that the sim is there

Dear Mr Voelker,
we are very sorry that there are problems with SIM-card detection.
As the SIM-card contacts of the Opis 60s mobile are freely accessible, it can occasionaly happen, that they get pushed in by mistake. In this case it helps gently to lift them up by about 0.5mm to 1mm (e.g. all 6, one by one, with a needle). If you are willing to try, you may attempt this. You will still be covered by warranty, even if the attempt causes damage, as long as you refer back to this forum post.
Should this not resolve the situation, or should you not want to try, please send us an email to contact@opis-tech.com (quoting your customer number or invoice number) and we will arrange product inspection repair/replacement (please note that this can take a little time as our technical team is located in Germany).
